Sami Zayn announced his official entry into Royal Rumble 2025 on this week's WWE RAW. OG put everyone on notice, including Bloodline member Roman Reigns, and claimed he would win the match now that he wanted the world title. Kevin Owens soon interrupted and Sami cheered him on, telling him how they would stay friends forever because he was a forgiving person.
Meanwhile, during the conversation, KO created a scenario where Zayn would help him in the ladder match. Cody Rhodes at Royal Rumble 2025 if necessary. Likewise, if Sami needed help in the Men's Royal Rumble match, the self-proclaimed Winged Eagle Champion would be there to support Sami as he wanted him to win.
However, if the Honorable Uce does not accompany or assist KO in defeating The American Nightmare at the Rumble, fans may see Owens express his frustration with Sami Zayn. In a potential scenario, Kevin Owens could face the OG Bloodline member backstage after losing to Rhodes. Here, she can argue why Sami doesn't help her despite bonding as a best friend. In desperation, he can KO Sami and completely brutalize him, making him unable to compete on the ropes.
This event could lead to the Bounty Warrior replacing Sami and entering the match himself. An angle like this would be a great way to advance the ongoing storyline between KO and the OG Bloodline member. This can eventually become a staple WrestleMania 41 storyline, Sami Zayn returns after a few weeks to avenge the attack.
A match between KO and Sami is sure to be a great addition to this year's showcase Immortals card. It remains to be seen how things will play out at Royal Rumble 2025 and whether Zayn and Owens will go after each other in the upcoming PLE.
Why did Kevin Owens forgive Sami Zayn for helping Roman Reigns but not Cody Rhodes?
So does the Prize Fighter in the whole conversation between Sami and KO announced The reason he forgave Sami for helping Roman Reigns and not Cody Rhodes. The 40-year-old star explained that Sami had a past relationship with OTC.
Here, Zayn forgave OTC for his actions, just as he had previously forgiven and reunited with Kevin Owens for his past actions. Because of this, Sami Zayn's actions are justified in a way for Owens, and the Prize Fighter didn't attack him like he did with The American Nightmare.
KO explained that Cody didn't have any positive history with Reigns, which should have made him less inclined to help the Real Chieftain. That's why Owens is going up against Rhodes and not his friend Sami Zayn.
