Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir on Wednesday (January 22) once again brought out the Pushpa celebration after taking a wicket on the cricket field. The left-arm pacer brought out the celebration during the ongoing T20 International League match between Desert Vipers and Sharjah Warriorz.
Desert Vipers captain Lockie Ferguson won the toss and opted to bowl first. He handed the new ball to Mohammad Amir and the pacer hit the ground. He gave his team a flying start, taking not only but two wickets in the first over.
After being hit for four by Johnson Charles on the third ball, the former Pakistani bounced back in style, dismissing the West Indies opener on the very next ball. Charles attempted a big shot and ended up hitting the delivery straight to the fielder at deep square leg. While he got the height on the shot, he couldn't get the distance.
Dan Lawrence made no mistake in taking the catch. And as soon as he completed the capture, Mohammad Amir brought out the famous iconic celebration 'Pushpa' inspired by Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa'.

Amir is not done yet. On the last ball of the same over, he dismissed Avishka Fernando for a duck to put his team in the driver's seat. Later in the third over, Amir took another wicket and again celebrated the dismissal with the Pushpa celebration. He dismissed Rohan Mustafa for 2 runs on the last ball of the third over.

This is not the first time that Mohammad Amir has celebrated a wicket in a game by doing the Pushpa celebration. He had done the same in 2022 when he took a wicket for Gloucestershire against Somerset in the T20 Blast.

Desert Vipers are in complete control against Sharjah Warriorz in the ongoing game. After losing two wickets in the first over, the Warriorz just couldn't recover and kept losing wickets at regular intervals.
At the time of writing, they were at 63/8 in the 14th over. For Vipers, Mohammad Amir and Wanindu Hasaranga were the pick of the bowlers, taking 3 wickets each.
