Juventus has announced the end of a loan deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
Even with the departure of Kylian Mbappe from PSG last summer, Kolo Muani has struggled for minutes and has barely featured for the Ligue 1 champions since September.
Juventus have paid an initial loan fee of €1 million, which can be increased by another €2 million subject to various performance-based conditions. Additional costs of €2.6 million have also been confirmed.
Kolo Muani first made his name at Nantes, followed by a move to Eintracht Frankfurt as a free agent in 2022. A new season in Germany, during which he was also part of France's World Cup squad in Qatar , urged quickly PSG to pay over 80 million euros.
But Kolo Muani's rapid rise struck back in France. He scored just nine goals in 40 appearances in all competitions last season and has just two goals this season.
had had tentative links with the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. The latter was reported to have made a bid in the days before Juve agreed a deal with PSG, while there was additional Premier League interest from Aston Villa, West Ham United and Everton.
In recent days, existing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with a possible departure. Chelsea are the team most linked with the Serbian international Christopher Nkunku who has been made available for transfer, with speculation growing that Arsenal could revive interest.
