Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid won their sixth consecutive men's wheelchair doubles at the Australian Open.
The British pair have now claimed 17 of the last 20 Grand Slam titles in the format and 22 combined, while they also lifted a maiden Paralympic gold last summer.
They were straight winners in the final in Melbourne, beating Spain's Daniel Caverzaschi and France's Stephane Houdet 6-2 6-4.
“I think the key thing is just never resting where we are and never being satisfied with our level, our performance and always trying to improve,” Reid said.
“No matter what title we've won or what the number is, we always go back and review it and see where we can improve and improve.”
Hewett will attempt to make it a double on Saturday when he takes on arch-rival Tokito Oda in the singles.
Lapthorne claimed an eighth consecutive Quad pairs title in Melbourne
Andy Lapthorne claimed his eighth Australian Open doubles title in the Quad Inverchair, partnering Dutchman Sam Schroder to a 6-1 6-4 win over hot seeds Niels Vink and Guy Sasson.
Lapthorne is a big fan of western hams and was encouraged by the club's support. He hopes to be home in time to see them on Sunday, who lives locally Sky Sports.
“My flight, I think, is tomorrow at 11:00 p.m. If I'm not delayed, then I'll get in the car right away and drive to Villa Park,” he said.
“If not, hopefully I get a week and maybe go to the training ground and bring the trophy out, meet some of the boys. I had some messages from Vladimir Coufal last night, which was really nice.
“He just told me to say he's watching and lots of luck and stuff. They've been amazing to me.
“I got a few of the guys from the media team mixed up saying good luck and saying they were watching. It's easy nice to have the support of the fans of the club and the people at the club.” It originated in the club. “
Fifteen-year-old Brit Hannah Klugman missed out on the girls' doubles trophy, losing to American twins Annika and Kristina Penickova 6-4 6-2 alongside Australia's Emerson Jones in the final.
