Brentford have signed Fiorentina defender Michael Kayode on loan and Yoane Wissa has said he will not leave the club this month.
Wisser, 28, has recently become the club's top scorer in the Premier League and has scored a total of 41 goals since joining from Lorient in 2021.
He was linked with a move to Nottingham Forest earlier this week, but manager Thomas Frank is unable to see any transfer progress.
He said, “All these rumors are good; I love the transfer market.
“For me, there are a lot of rumours. He is a Brentford player and in my opinion, Wissa is not for sale. He's our #9 leadoff man. He is very good.
“I don't see why he should be sold.”
Kayode is a versatile 20-year-old who can play at full-back or in the center of defense and Frank is happy to sign his man.

“We really like him,” he said. I am very happy that we were able to sign him to add more depth in the back positions. He is very smart, I think it's an amazing physical package.
“He has the ability to go forward. Very good defensively. Of course, He is young and needs to develop. He hasn't played much this season, but he played the whole season at Fiorentina last season.”
