Chelsea predicted line-up against Man City

After earning their first Premier League win since Christmas on Monday night, Chelsea can strengthen their position in the top four when they travel to Manchester City on Saturday.

A 3-1 triumph over relegation-threatened Wolves offered Enzo Maresca some time after an indifferent run of form that saw the Blues go from potential title contenders to Champions League champions.

The Italian has had trouble juggling his squad given its size, and many have questioned whether Maresca has captured his strongest XI.

Chelsea were swept aside by a Rodriless City on the opening weekend of the season, but there's no denying that THIS the iteration of Cityzens is a very different proposition for the outfit that took off in west London last August. theirs weaknesses were revealed once again on Wednesday night.

Maresca's side have a chance to secure a statement win in Manchester, and here's how they could line up on Saturday night.

GK: Robert Sanchez – The Spaniard was again at fault on Monday night as Wolves equalized with Matt Doherty, Filip Jorgensen waiting in the wings, but Maresca is likely to keep faith with Sanchez.

RB: Reece James – Maresca needs to manage his captain carefully, but we could see him start the second leg given the enormity of this fixture.

CB: Tosin Adarabioyo – The prolific centre-half has emerged as a useful threat in the opposition box, with Tosi scoring in Chelsea's 3-1 win on Monday.

CB: Levi Colwill – Colwill was missing in a Chelsea Premier League XI for the first time this season against Wolves, but there is hope the left-footed defender will be fit to return this weekend.

LB: Marc Cucurella – Like Tosin, Cucurella is proving a concern in the attacking third. The Spanish left-back has been a constant in Maresca's XI this season, with the impending departure of Renato Veiga reducing competition for minutes further down the line.

CM: Moises Caicedo – Caicedo has been fantastic this season and he will need to produce his best work to slow down the revival of City's creative group of Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden.

CM: Enzo Fernandez – The Argentine was also absent last time out, but Maresca is certain to bring him back into the squad this weekend with the manager confirming that selection will depend on how Friday's training goes. Fernandez leaves a lot to be desired in defence, but he will be key to City's exploits on the counter.

RM: Noni Maduke – Maresca has been demanding of Madueke this season and the England winger has been in and out of the squad as a result. The Italian wants more from Madueke without the ball, but the former PSV star is Chelsea's best option on the right.

AM: Cole Palmer – The irrepressible Palmer didn't feature last time out, but has a big role to play on Saturday night against his former club. City do not have the midfield personnel capable of fending off Palmer.

LM: Jadon Sancho – Pedro Neto has struggled from the left this season, and Maresca may prefer Sancho's sense of timing and shrewd decision-making in a situation like this.

ST: Nicolas Jackson – Saturday would be a time to end Jackson's scoring drought. The forward has not found himself on the scoresheet since December 15.
