Brian Mbeumo converted a penalty in the 66th minute and Kevin Shadi headed home 10 minutes from time Brentord A second Premier League win in a row, condemning Crystal Palace to their first defeat in seven matches in all competitions.
Striker Mbeumo appeared to have suffered his first miss with the 10th penalty of his career when his initial effort hit the base of a post to the delight of the home fans at Selhurst Park.
Palace defender Mark Joy It was adjudged an encroachment inside the box when the kick was seized, giving Mbeumo a chance that the Cameroon international took to score from the replay, putting his finish back the other way into the first.
