Diego Pacheco beat the undefeated WBA Continental American Super Middle Champion Steven Nelson on Saturday night at 12 bullets at Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, Chelsea Ballroom, Las Vegas, Nevada. In the main event, IBF International Lightweight Champion Andy Cruz easily beat Omar 'Super' Salcido by a unanimous decision in 10 rounds.

Pacheco, 23-0 (18) beat the 'so cold' Nelson, 20-1 (15) by a unanimous decision in 12 rounds.
In the first three rounds, the fight was closer and higher. Pacheco had a slight edge using an effective stab over aggressive Nelson. Nelson was cut on his left eyebrow in the last minute of the fourth round, chopping the right of Pachec.
In the fifth round, Pacheco landed several lead rights on a beard. Nelson stopped being an aggressor from cutting. In the last minute of the sixth round, Pacheco landed well against Nelson.
Nelson continues forward in the seventh round, looking for a big goal against the Higher Pachec. In the eighth round, Pacheco landed on numerous rights as the blood continued down Nelson's face.
In the ninth round, Pacheco landed good left hooks on Nelson's beard. In the tenth round, Pacheco said Nelson. Judge Allan Huggins walked to Nelson to his corner asking the ring doctor to check the cut.
Nelson had a good round in the eleventh round, trying to overcome Pachec's lead. Nelson showed determination in the twelfth and last round, trying to land a big blow to the circle.

Andy Cruz, 5-0 (2), beat Omar 'Super' Salcido, 20-2 (14) by a unanimous decision for the empty WBA Continental title.
Cruz used an effective stitch in the first two rounds, retaining Salcido that pierces the power from landing any major blows. In the third round of Cruz, with faster hands, he arrives at Salcido before he manages to get off.

Super lightweight Ernesto 'Tito' Mercado, 17-0 (16) impressed, stopped by former IBF Super Featherweight and WBO's light champion 'Sniper' Jose Pedraz, 29-6-1 (14) in 2:08 from the fourth round and scheduled and scheduled 10 rounds.
