The Foxes fight back to put significant pressure on Postecoglou

Leicester City achieved a decisive victory over Tottenham 2-1 in a tense encounter that ended their winless streak in the English Premier League.

Jamie Vardy and Bilal Khanous scored early in the second half to overturn Richarlison's first-half scoreline, leaving Spurs dazed and adding to their struggles under Ange Postecoglou.

The match began with Tottenham dominating the early game. Richarlison, who started for the second time in the league this season, gave Tottenham the lead in the 33rd minute.

Pedro Porro sent a perfect cross from the right side, and the Brazilian met it with a powerful header past Leicester goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk.

Tottenham continued to press, with Boro hitting the woodwork and Heung-Min Son blocking Stolarczyk's shot, but they were unable to extend their lead before half-time.

Leicester's lackluster first-half display offered little indication of what would happen next.

Only 58 seconds after the start of the second half, the Foxes equalized. Bobby De Cordova-Reid, influential throughout the second half, sent a low cross into the area that Tottenham's defense failed to clear.

Vardy shot a powerful ball from close range to score his tenth goal in his career against Tottenham and ignite life in Leicester.

Moments later, the visitors completed their return. De Cordova-Reid intercepted a loose pass from Rodrigo Bentancur and found Al-Khanous in space.

The Jamaican international curled a stunning shot into the bottom corner from 20 yards, silencing the home crowd and putting Leicester 2-1 ahead by the 50th minute.

Tottenham looked to respond, with both Boro and substitute Mickey Moore coming close.

Boro hit the crossbar with a free kick from 30 yards, while Moore shot a direct shot that was brilliantly blocked by Stolarczyk in stoppage time.

The defeat marked the fourth consecutive loss in the Premier League, leaving Postecoglou's team languishing in the bottom six and searching for answers.

For Leicester, the win was a much-needed boost in their battle against relegation.
