West Indies registered their first Test win in Pakistan since 1990 to level the series after Jomel Warrican's five-for ensured a 120-run win on the third day of the second Test in Multan.
Resuming on 76-4 and chasing 178 runs to win, Pakistan lost both batting overnight without adding a total as Kevin Sinclair (3-61) had Saud Shakeel caught in the slips on the third ball of the morning and Warrican a clean night watchman . Kashif Ali (1) in the next over.
Mohammad Rizwan (25) and Salman Ali Agha (15) added 39 runs before both fell to left-arm spinner Warrican (5-27).
Salman, who had earlier survived a close chance from Warrican, was trapped LBW, before Rizwan was hit by a delivery that spun back into him to leave Pakistan on 122-8.
Gudakesh Motie (2-35) dismissed Noman Ali (6) before the Warrican was cleaned up by fellow clean bowler Sajid Khan (7).
It was a remarkable turnaround for West Indies who lost the first Test by 127 runs at the same venue and were 38-7 on the first day of the second Test after Noman's historic hat-trick.
However, West Indies' lower order lifted them to a total of 163 for a slim lead in the nine-run first innings.
Captain Kraigg Brathwaite's half-century (52) in the second innings then took the West Indies to 244 for a total lead of 253 runs, before the Pakistanis fell into their own spin trap against the tourists.
The loss to Pakistan pushed them to the bottom of the World Test Championship table as both teams ended their two-year campaigns.
