Arsenal “A missing person” and must win the title says arteta

Director Mikel Arta says Arsenal misses something to win the prizes.

Defenders finished second behind Manchester City in both the last Premier League seasons and Liverpool trained six points with 15 games that left this time.

He is third in the Champions League table in a good position to qualify directly to the last 16, but ARTETA says that his team needs more to compete for the main prizes.

He said the world: β€œIn this club, the ambition to win the great titles is not negotiable.

“With the stability that the team shows in terms of performance, in normal circumstances, we will have some great title in our hands, but the fact is that we did not do that.

“Therefore, we miss something, and here we must find this margin to be able to do what we all want, which is to take another step forward and win the big titles.”

Arteta was five years responsible and directed Gunners to win the FA Cup in 2020.

His team has struggled this season to transform opportunities with Bocao Saka and Jabriel Jesus, as a new striker was the top of the list of wishes for all Arsenal fans this month.

But ARTETA said: “All players are in good health is the only thing in the list of my wishes.

“The club has given me the opportunity to see if that will help us get some reinforcements and I think it is in every window, the team must try to improve and develop and the first thing we do is to look internally.

“All I can do is the issue of numbers. We started the season with a very small number of players, and unfortunately, we have many injuries, and some very important events as well, and if we can get what we have.”

Arsenal faces Girona on Wednesday before hosting Manchester City on Sunday.
