La Liga President Javier Tebas has confirmed that they are working to overthrow Dani Olmo's emergency registration with Barcelona.
Olmo saw that his initial census expired on December 31 and La Liga dismissed Barcelona's efforts to re-register the midfielder, indicating the rule of the League saying no player could be removed and re-entered to a club team in every single season.
Barcelona argued that they had tried their financial ability to re-register Olmo before expireing his initial license and eventually took their issue in the Spanish government, who gave International Spain a temporary registration for up to three months as they evaluate the situation and reach a concrete judgment.
“We are against his registration and we are giving the relevant resources to the necessary organization,” Tebas stated. “We ask that he does not register, logically.
“If we believe he should not register, we obviously believe that we have a chance that he does not register.”
some Bonding The clubs have complained about the decision to give Barcelona a new registration for OLMO – a feeling with which Thebas seems to agree with the whole heart.
“They are right,” he said. “If we as a league are submitting the relevant complaints, because we believe that a decision was not made in accordance with the law as it should be.”
However, Tebas accepted the clubs will not be able to oppose Barcelona's results with Olmo on the side even if he is forcibly unregulated.
“In the field of sports law, when a player has a license, and at the moment Dani Olmo has a license to play, a match cannot be challenged, even if they can later rule in our favor,” he concluded .
