Arsenal's main coach Renee Slegers says Chloe Kelly is the perfect adaptation for the club after the deadline agreement goes.
Signed 27-year-old with gunners from Super league of women Manchester City's rivals at the last hour of the January transfer window and will stay in the club loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
Kelly returns to North London for the first time in eight years after representing the Arsenal Academy from the age of 12.
Coach Renee Slegers chief confirmed that Kelly “has been on the list for the next planning” for a while after the club prepared to make a daily offering of the deadline.
“She has been to the club before, so she understands what Arsenal is,” Slegers noted. “She understands the history of the club. She knows girls and members of the staff from earlier, so I think it's important to have a connection with the culture and what we want to make as a group and what we are part of.”
