However, these hopes are intermittent after Gelding owned Robcour left failure, which means he won't return to the fall.
In the statement published on his website, Elliott said: “Unfortunately, Gerri Colombe met with a failure that means he won't run this season.
“It's not careful or seriously, but comes in the wrong time of the season, so we'll have to get him out of the spring festivals.
“It's a big blow to yourself and Robcour team, but we'll concentrate on getting right for the next season when we hope all the roads will lead to the Gold Cup.”
