The semi-finals of the Metro Women's League Cup have decided to develop during the week with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and West Ham fighting it against each other.
Three of the remaining four contenders faced the advantage of entry into the competition in a later stage after playing only one game due to their respective appearances in UEFA Women Champions League.

A Derby in London in Wolverhampton ended up with gunners raising silver, as a 118-minute winner from the Blackstenius season without Chelsea beat 1-0. The victory excelled a positive light in a troubled season for Arsenal, as it failed to exceed the first round of UEFA Champions League qualifiers.
A similar story played the season ago, as Arsenal defeated Chelsea 3-1 in Selhurst Park. Blackstenius was on the results sheet once again while the gunners caught silver in the middle of a campaign raised by damage.
Since the start of the competition in 2011, only Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City have won the League Cup. Gunners are the precursors, having taken home the last glory in seven cases. Cityzens have won the race four times, the last time he is in the 2021/22 campaign.
As for the English champions, Chelsea has raised the silver of the League Cup on two occasions, but have fallen to defeat in the final for three years running.
Chelsea will be eager to do it in the final of the competition once again as the West Ham side host in the opening semifinal. Blues performed the side of the last championship Durham with a 5-0 win on their way to half West Ham beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 to secure their place.
West Ham's third time in the semifinal stages of the competition, making both of their previous appearances against Chelsea. The shackles will hopefully hope this time, as they have previously lost 6-0 in 2021 and 7-0 in 2023.
In North London, Arsenal title holders will host Manchester City at Meadow Park for a place in the final. Gunners will be eager to add a trophy of the Third League Cup in their cabinet after defeating Chelsea 3-1 in 2023 and 1-0 in 2024.
The league cup is the last part of the silver City has managed to add to their cabinet, winning the competition in 2022 after defeating Chelsea 3-1 in Plug Lane.

The Subway Women's League Cup has confirmed the transmission options for the next semifinal.
Kingsmeadow is the confirmed place for Chelsea Vs West Ham United, which will take place at 7pm on Wednesday 5 February. Arsenal and Manchester City will be hosted at Meadow Park, taking place on Thursday 6 February at 19:00 GMT.
Fans will be able to grant the action on the BBC iplayer as well as the official Barclays WSL YouTube Channel.

The Derby District Pride Park Stadium has been appointed as the official host of the Subway Women's League Cup final. With a capacity of 33,597, Pride Park will welcome fans through Saturday curves on March 15 for a blow at 12:15 in the afternoon.
This is not the first time Derby Stadium has received a large number of women, having previously been waiting for the 2009 FA Cup final between Arsenal and Sunderland before 23,291 fans.
The 2024/25 league final will seek to break the record set to last season between Arsenal and Chelsea, who saw 21,462 fans fill the Molineux stadium of Wolverhampton.
