Barcelona sailed to the Copa del Rey semi-finals on Thursday night, courtesy for a one-sided 5-0 victory over Valencia in Mestalla.
Valencia is fighting at La Liga's wrong end this season, but there was no relief in this last eight -cup tie. Ferran Torres handed over the Hansi Flick's Barcelona lead within the first three minutes, an advantage that the Front-Man spinned for Robert Lewandowski doubled not 15 minutes later.
Fermin Lopez made him 3-0 with only a quarter of the game played before Torres finished his hat-trick in just half an hour against his boyhood team.
Valencia left the field half of the time in a boos chorus by fans of the house and things did not get better after the break when Lamine Yamal Bagazhi fifth in Barcelona, just shy of the clock sign.
Barcelona will learn their semi -final opponent, one from Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid or Real Sociedad, when RFEF makes the last four draw on February 12.
