Two late goals saw Brentford grab a 2-2 draw against Manchester City on Tuesday.
A scrappy first half saw both teams create a number of smart chances. City's positional dominance looked set to return as they managed 20 touches inside the Brentford box, but they could only translate this into two shots on goal before the interval.
Savinho hit the post five minutes after the restart and Erling Haaland should have opened the scoring with a header soon after but, after Mikkel Damsgaard saw a shot ruled out for offside, City took the lead they deserved when Phil Foden pulled away a superb strike volley. converted from Kevin De Bruyne's beaten cross.
Nathan Ake cleared off the line to preserve City's lead, which was doubled with 12 minutes to go as Foden headed home a reverse to give Pep Guardiola's side a lead that felt insurmountable.
However, Brentford refused to lie down. In the 82nd minute, Yoane Wissa pulled one back for the hosts, before Christian Norgaard headed in a stoppage-time equaliser.
The Bees even thought they had won it in the 95th minute, only for Ake to clear another shot off the line to rescue a point for a shell-shocked City.
