Complaints are mounting regarding the absence of several players from Australia and South Africa for the IPL 2025 matches. ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Final from June 11, players from all these countries must prioritize the requirements of the countries in order to participate in the IPL tournament.
Important players to miss IPL playoffs
Australian stars Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Travis Head are expected to exit the IPL in preparation for the WTC final against South Africa at Lord's. Cummins and Head represent Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)Starc will play Delhi Capitals (DC) and Hazlewood has them Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Their absence could have a huge impact on their teams as they look to finish strong in the tournament.
Likewise, the South African players included Aiden Markram, Kagiso Rabada, Marco Jansen and Tristan Stubbs he is also expected to miss important matches in the IPL as he moves on to the WTC Final.
