West Bromwich in Tony Mowbray talks
According to Club Insider DOOD, West Brom are in talks with former Baggies coach Tony Mowbray. The 61-year-old, who captained the club between 2006-09, is out of work but appears ready to return after his recent illness and is in discussions with staff at The Hawthorns.
DOOD has turned to X to claim that the length of the contract on offer “could be a stumbling block” but discussions are continuing.
Mowbray, who plays A 4-2-3-1 The system, has recently been praised by critics Carlton Palmer Amid links to returning to the club, he described the coach as a “great coach.”
“It's a very difficult situation West Brom find themselves in, they have a very talented squad and they have a chance of securing another play-off place. I'm a huge fan of Tony Mowbray, he's recovered from cancer, he's a great coach and a great person.

Palmer then added: “We know how good manager Tony Mowbray is and how well he works with young players, but it's a difficult decision to make because we don't know the circumstances surrounding the finances in terms of recruiting players.
“If you are a coach, this seems like the right time to start the open transfer window, and if they can bring a striker into this talented team, they will certainly be good enough to reach the playoffs.”
Mowbray who won Two of the nine matches are against West Bromwich Over the past six years, he has won the Second Division title with the Baggies in 2008, so he could be looking for another promotion to the Premier League in the Midlands, making this one worth watching.
