Borussia Dortmund are now trying to sign Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford Sky Germany.
Dortmund held internal negotiations and now decided to loan the England international.
The Bundesliga side distanced themselves from a potential deal earlier this week, with Rashford said not to be a preferred target for head coach Nuri Sahin.
The projected cost – even subsidized – for the forward was reportedly marked as beyond Dortmund's means.
That attitude seems to have changed now, but AC Milan are also very specific in their interest and are actively trying to secure a deal to sign Rashford themselves.
Rashford's camp have held talks with a number of European clubs this month to explore the terms of a deal.

Manchester United are understood to have preferred an outright loan move for Rashford, if they were to allow him to leave Old Trafford.

Amorim said, “I don't know. We'll see.”

If they already have one or two non-EU players, they can bring up to two more non-EU players.
If they have more than two non-EU players, they can buy two more non-EU players, but one of them must have played for their national team in the previous 12 months.
Milan could only buy two new players from outside the EU this season due to the number of places already filled.
They did it in the summer with the arrival of Emerson Royal from Tottenham and Strahinja Pavlović from Red Bull Salzburg. This means that Milan only have one additional place available for a UK (or Albanian) player.
Even if they sell a non-EU player, they still can't sign another UK player. It is one place per registration period (season).
