England's bowlers found it difficult to maintain control. Natalie Sciver and Charlotte Dean were the pick of the attack, each taking two wickets as they scored 51 and 53 runs respectively. Lauren Bell also managed two scalps but made 72 runs in her 10 overs.

Alana Kings stop England
England's chase got off to a rough start, losing Maia Bouchier for a duck in the second over. Tammy Beaumont (54 off 77) lit up the innings with a patient century, but wickets kept falling. Heather Knight (14 off 20) and Danielle Wyatt (35 off 32) contributed briefly, while Natalie Sciver kept England's hopes alive with 61 off 68 balls, hitting 5 fours.
Amy Jones chipped in with 30 off 26, but the lower order crumbled. England lost their last five wickets for just 24 runs, unable to cope with Australia's disrespectful batting.
Alana King was the star with the ball, taking five wickets, finishing with figures of 5/46 in 8.2 overs. Megan Schutt provided the early lead, taking 3/57 in her nine overs. Georgia Wareham completed the attack with 2/27 from her five overs, ensuring that England never got close to the target. The guests were 222 in 42.2 oversgiving Australia a deserved win.
