The Golden State Warriors The season started off strong, but they couldn't sustain that momentum.
They have lost six of their last ten games, falling to an 18-18 record and ninth place in the Western Conference. Plus, star Steph Curry hasn't looked like his usual self this season, battling a knee injury and unable to carry the team day in and day out.
That's why NBA insider Sam Amick believes he won't even make the All-Star game this season.

Amick said on FanDuel TV's “Run It Back,” “We can see that (Steph Curry) is going to have a hard time making that All-Star roster, even though the game is in San Francisco.”
So far, Curry is averaging around 23 points and 6 assists per game from 45% from the floor, and while those numbers aren't bad, he hasn't been as explosive as he has been in the past.
Steve Kerr admits Steph Curry struggles with losses
Steph Curry has not shied away from uncomfortable conversations this season. He's been open about his team's shortcomings, and he's clearly not having a good time right now.
The Golden State Warriors have dropped two straight games, both by margin, and Curry's body language says it all.
After their lopsided defeat Miami Heathead coach Steve Kerr admitted that his superstar point guard is struggling to cope with all the losses.
“I can see that with Steph. He continues to shine night after day, but basically he's a winner. He is a champion. Likewise, he wants to compete at the highest level,” Kerr said. “He's really struggling with the feeling of not being competitive right now. He probably hasn't dealt with it since his first few years in the league.”
The Warriors are the team in play right now, but with the San Antonio Spurs and possibly the Phoenix Suns or Sacramento Kings coming in, some believe they may not even have a chance to make the playoffs this season.
It's still early in the year, and the Warriors are expected to be very aggressive in acquiring another star before the Feb. 6 trade deadline.
