After this afternoon's 3-1 defeat at home to Brighton, Ruben Amory admitted that this could be the worst team in Manchester United's history.
United are second best to the Seagulls and sit 13th in the Premier League after losing six of their nine Premier League games.
Yankuba Minteh gave Brighton the lead and Bruno Fernandes equalized from the penalty spot, but Kauro Mitoma and Georginio Rutter set up Fabian Hurzeler's second.

After that, Amorim sought to outline the size of the task ahead with United already closer to the relegation zone than the top four.
He said: “Imagine that for a Manchester United fan. This is my idea.
“You've got a new coach who has lost more than the last coach. Imagine that. We need to survive in this moment. I know that.
“We are probably the worst team in the history of Manchester United. I know I want the headlines, but I say it because I have to acknowledge it and change it. So there you go. Your title.”
Hard to explain – Amorim
United have picked up just 11 points from Amorim's 11 games since losing Erik ten Hag in November.
“It's hard to explain,” said the Portuguese. You have to acknowledge the moment without solving the problem.
“Everyone here underperforms in any situation. Any team in the Premier League losing so many games doesn't bother Manchester United. It's a really difficult moment, but we have to keep going.
“Our opponents are better than us in many details. That's why we can't be consistent. I'm not helping my players right now.
“It was a difficult moment. We must recognize that we are in a very difficult situation. Bad records, Home losses With all the losses in the Premier League, we've been really underperforming.”
“Fans will suffer.”
Amorim says he'll stick with the methods he likes, even if he feels more short-term pain.
He told Sky Sports: “Clearly. I don't change the way I see the game. I am clear.
“The players will suffer, The fans will also suffer, I'm sorry. I have a way to go, but I need to survive this time. It's very clear to everyone what we're going to do.”
