Melbourne Stars captain Marcus Stoinis is having a great time on the field in the ongoing match against Hobart Hurricanes in the 2024-25 Big Bash League (BBL). The match between the two TEAMS takes place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne.

But it's fair to say that the credit for Caleb Jewell's wicket goes to none other than Stoinis. The Melbourne Stars skipper produced a sensational effort in the field and picked one of the best catches of the season to send the batsman.

Mark Steketee bowled a good length delivery which was on the move. Caleb Jewell tried to cross the infield but didn't get the right connection as he got it off the bottom of the bat. It looked like the ball would easily drift away to mid on and the batsman would survive.

But Marcus Stoinis produced a stunning effort as he raced back and made a full dive. He stretched his arms as far as possible and hung on with both hands. He was then on the ground with both arms raised in celebration as his team celebrated the wicket.
