Baron Corbin announced for the main event after his WWE exit

Baron Corbin's first match since leaving WWE has been revealed. Lone Wolf The promotion has ended on the eve of Crown Jewel 2024.

The veteran's contract with the promotion expired last year and the company decided not to renew his contract. Corbyn's first game outside the promotion was announced today and will take place on January 19 in New York.

The former Money in the Bank winner will headline The People vs. The Hammerstein Ballroom this weekend. He will appear as Tom Pestok (real name) in a Bloodsport match against Josh Barnett at GCW 2025. The 40-year-old announced the match on Instagram today and you can check out his message in the post below.

“Gret your teeth and protect your neck,” he wrote.

Baron Corbin spent twelve years with the Stamford-based company before leaving in 2024. He captured the United States Championship during his time on the main roster and also won the NXT Tag Team Championship with Bron Breaker.

Former WWE star Baron Corbin suggests his daughter will become a professional wrestler

Baron Corbin recently predicted that his daughter would become a WWE Superstar.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter last year, the former United States Champion revealed that many fans are unaware that he has children. Corbin claimed that her daughter had already lost her mind and predicted that he would eventually become a professional wrestler.

“It's funny, a lot of people never realize I have kids, I think that's one thing people don't know. I have two daughters. One of them, she's five years old and she's totally going to be a WWE Superstar. She's out of her mind. And she's already throws low punches off the couch, so maybe that's something a lot of people don't know about me,” Corbin said. (3:54 – 4:10)

Before dropping the promo, Baron Corbin It revealed that Triple H and Shawn Michaels were both similar bookers in the WWE. It will be interesting to see if Corbin ever gets the opportunity to return to the bullpen.
