Sheamus is backing the Irish star to win the main title match tonight on WWE RAW

Sheamus backed the Irish star to win a major title match on WWE RAW tonight. Veteran will also participate in a grudge match against the Imperium Ludwig Kaiser.

Lyra Valkyria and Dakota Kai have advanced to the finals of the Women's Intercontinental Championship Tournament and will compete on the red brand tonight. The winner of the match will win the title of the first champion.

Ahead of tonight's episode WWE RAWcompany shared a video of Sheamus helping Valkyria train and wondering if the former NXT Women's Champion could win the tournament.

Sheamus reacted to this post and revealed that he has chosen Valkyria to become the first Women's Intercontinental Champion tonight on RAW. You can check his comment in the screenshot below.

“You will never beat the Irish ☘️,” he wrote.

Lyra Valkyria made it to the finals of the 2024 Queen of the Rings tournament, but was defeated by Nia Jax. The Force Unstoppable then defeated Bayley at SummerSlam to become the WWE Women's Champion. However, Tiffany Stratton finally cashed in her Money in the Bank deal to take the title from Jax on SmackDown earlier this month.

Sheamus reveals his frustration with WWE officials over the entrance music

RAW Superstar Sheamus recently revealed his frustration at not being able to use the song “Written in My Face.”

A conversation with Chris Van Vliet INSIGHT Podcast, he shared that he is 46 years old I'm tired of asking the company to let me use the intro song. The former frontman of The Brawling Brutes also praised fans for their creativity as they made memories of the track.

“Oh, it's been a long time. Maybe, I don't know. Maybe 2010. People are so creative on the internet. They're so creative, especially with music. I miss that song though. A lot of people pissed me off. brought it back but they wouldn't let me save it (remove Can we?) Maybe… I don't know, I'm tired of asking. I'm out of everything,” he said.

The veteran never won the Intercontinental Championship during his career and briefly won a Triple Threat Match against Bron Breaker and Ludwig Kaiser for the title at WWE Survivor Series 2024. It will be interesting to see if the legend can defeat Ludwig Kaiser tonight. RAW.
