John Cena Sr. Cena comments on a potential 17th world title win (Exclusive)


John Cena He wants to win the 17th WWE World Championship, but he doesn't want to take a shortcut to the title picture. The Cenation Leader will have to go through 29 superstars if he wants to win the richest prize in the business.

Speaking in his last release What Were They Thinking? about Backstage passJohn Cena Sr. sharing his thoughts about his son winning the potential world champion title, he noted that he made a bet with his partner.

“Well, we'll see what happens. I bet my girlfriend Moniece. We watched the Netflix comeback, the first time she came back, and she gave her little game in the ring – it's old. Cena, you know, seventeen-time heavyweight champion there's a chance to be, I can get an Oscar without it (mimics Jenna). And I'm going, 'Oh, it's coming.'”

He went on to make a $500 bet during Cena Jr's promo;

“And then he said, 'Oh, but I never give up.' So he immediately said, “he's going to be a 17-time heavyweight champion.” I said, I'll put $500, let's see what happens. He said: 'Are you betting for or against?' I said that when it happens, we will open the envelope and see if I am right. We'll see.” (From 11:20)
