Mohammed Siraj shares a cryptic post on social media after Champions Trophy 2025 snub



Even bowling with intensity and passion in the 5th game Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, Mohammed Siraj did not achieve the expected results. Apart from performing well in the Sydney Test, Siraj has not fared well in the series, conceding many runs without troubling the Australian batsmen much. His poor showing in the Test series cost him a place in the team Champions Trophy 2025and other pacers such as Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Shamiand Jasprit Bumrah to be more honorable than him.

After being left out of the Indian team for the prestigious tournament, Siraj has now opened up about his future aspirations, sharing what has sparked a huge conversation among cricketers.

The 30-year-old has been staying away from the limelight and has not been seen in public since the announcement of the Indian team. England ODI series and Champions Trophy 2025 held. In social media, Siraj can be seen in the gym taking a selfie using a fitness mirror with dumbbells and other fitness equipment around him. The Indian pacer added another word “Reset, Restart, Restart” showing that he has started preparing to return to the Indian team.

Siraj's ODI record so far

Siraj is expected to miss out on the Champions Trophy 2025. The right-arm pacer has an impressive record in the white ball and was an integral part of India's bowling team in the ICC tournaments. Siraj has played 44 matches for the country and has taken 71 wickets so far with an economy rate of 5.18. The most memorable moment of Siraj's limited innings so far was the 6-wicket haul he took against Sri Lanka in Colombo in September 2023.

Siraj was also part of the dangerous trio during the ODI World Cup 2023 along with Shami and Bumrah and took 14 wickets in the tournament, thus becoming a constant contender for the batsmen. Despite the interesting appearance and dishes, India they missed out on winning the world cup and lost Australia in the competition files.
