England national cricket team captain Jos Buttler played a magnificent innings for his team in the ongoing match against India national cricket team. The series opener between the teams takes place at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
England national cricket team captain Jos Buttler has been the lone warrior for his team in the ongoing game with the bat. The wicket-keeper batsman, who batted at number 3, ensured that he kept his side in the hunt and took them to the total of tackles in the game.
Jos Buttler seemed to be batting on a completely different wicket as he looked extremely solid with the bat. The captain of the England national cricket team slammed the Indian bowlers all over the park and ensured that he did not let the pressure be completely on his side, adding runs quickly at the other end.
Jos Buttler slammed a solid half-century and with the way he was going, it looked like he would end up with a big score. But his stay at the crease was interrupted by Nitish Kumar Reddy's brilliance on the field as the Indian all-rounder took a brilliant catch.
Varun Chakravarthy bowled a short ball to which Jos Buttler played the pull to deep square leg. Nitish Kumar Reddy came in from the deep and made a sensational throw to take the catch. The third umpire checked it several times before saying no.
