CHALLENGE CUP: West Hull set up third round clash with St Helens after edging Hunslet Arlfc | RUGBY LEAGUE NEWS

Amateur side Hull West edged out National Conference League rivals Hunslet ARLFC 24-18 to set up a third round tie with 13-time winners St Helens in the Betting Cup.

Goole Vikings stun London Broncos in their first fixture as a professional club, beating them 17-10 at Rosslyn Park to book their fixture against Wakefield Trinity.

The Vikings, coached by three-time winner and former England forward Scott Taylor, came from 10-0 down to claim victory.

The BRONCOS' are only a handful of regulars from their Super League last season but they initially looked to win after two early tries from Connor O'beirne and Sadiq Adebiyi, but Tom Halliday scored the Vikings' first try late in the first half and they dominated in the second period.

Ex-Leeds center Thomas Minns brought them level with a long-range effort, then standout Ex-Hull FC Akademy Stil-of Mackenzie Harman scored an interception and Scrum-half Reece Dean added CHICL-TO CIOL.

They will be joined in the last 32 by two other community clubs, York Acorn RLC and Wests Warriors from London, who have been placed in Super Super League Hull FC and Leeds Rhinos.

York Acorn, who were the most successful community club in the 2024 Cup as they won four games to earn a fifth round tie at Halifax, beat Oulton Raiders 22-2.

Meanwhile, Southern Conference League Western Warriors thrashed British Army 36-18 to earn a tilt at Round of 14 winners Leeds Rhinos.
