Rob Cross held off a running Stephen to win the Dutch Masters Darts with an 8 to 5 triumph in the final.
The win is the offense's first title of 2025 and his fifth on the World Series circuit, but his first ever World Series win in Europe.
His opponent entered the tournament as a No. 1 seed after winning in Bahrain in the opening World Series event of the year, and forced his way up the rankings until he was face to face with what was a clinical darts from the cross-cross Tournament.
Kroz came out full of confidence and got off to a better start, his consistency on the treble plus strong doubles to help him on the opening leg break that took him to 4-2.
Bunting rallied and took three legs on the list with a 12-back 12-dart and a 130 checkout on the bull to bring the final level at 5-5.
However, the world no. 4, stayed calm under pressure and regained control for three more legs in a row, cementing the win at D8.
“Obviously the crowd is great,” Cross said ITV.
“I think it's the time I won in Holland. I'm very grateful.
“Stephen (Bunting) is a great man … He's a credit to the sport. I'm just so grateful to win.”

Cross got off to a better start in the battle and made it count with a throw break in the third leg helping him move 4-2 ahead, and 121 cashier then clinical darts on his own throw dominant win.
