Eddie Hearn says he eats in Keyshawn Davis, losing four times from Cuban Andy Cruz in amateurs, and believes he will want to prove that he is a better fighter in professionals.
Davis repeatedly refused to fight Cruz, saying that he was under him and that he had nothing to get from fighting him. It just sounds like an old -fashioned, flat fear with Keyshawn's part, not wanting to beat himself and his career fell apart before she started at all.
Cruz's threat
Hearn feels the fight between the highly ranked lightweight candidate Keyshawn (12-0, 8 Kos) and Cruza (4-0, 2 ko) would have a great upgrade because of his rivalry.
He says that if Davis records the WBO light title of champion Denys Berinchyka next month, he might want to correct things with Cruz.
Andy fights Omara Salcido tonight (20-1, 14 ko) in the 10-round co-founder at Diego Pacheco Vs. Steven Nelson Card in Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. If Cruz looks vulnerable in this fight, Keyshawn can give the courage to finally fight him.
Keyshawn said this week that his focus was a wb belt from Berinchyka, and then seeking a fight to unite against the IBF champion Vasily Lomachenko. The account is on the top rank that that fight for him is fighting.
That doesn't happen, but it's Keyshawn's desperate hope. He will not fight his friend Shakur Stevenson, and Gervonts Davis will not waste time fighting him. This leaves Cruza.
“If I were the highest rank, I wouldn't watch Andy Cruz because you will use an excuse,” Ah, no one knows who else is. He only had five fights. “Let's be honest; accumulation, rivalry, history is a great struggle,” Eddie Hearn said Fix When asked if he wanted to fight between the light candidate Andy Cruz and Keyshawn Davis 2025.
“I know Keyshawn, he is a competitor and he has improved by the way. He was always a great fighter. He's very good, Keyshawn and maybe he can beat Andy Cruza. He (Davis) lost four times in amateurs. He was never close to beating, and Everyone will say, “Yes, but amateurs are amateurs.”
“Yes, he is, but he is (Keyshawn) still never beat him, and he'll eat him. I know Keyshawn is the winner and he'll eat it. He'll want to put it in professional. So he will win (Davis) (WBO champion in the lightweight category) Berinchyk (February 14) in style, but who knows? Andy has to win (against Omar Salcida).
