Chelsea is close to hitting a deal to mark The 16-year-old left Denner Corinthians claimed reports.
Blues have spent huge amounts on new players since receiving Todd Bohly-Clearlake capital, with a special focus on South America. Estevao Willian will join this summer in an agreement worth 29m initial, with Ecuador's midfielder Kendry Paez also doing the move. Argentinean's defender Aaron Anselmino already arrived at Stamford Bridge this month.
Andrey Santos, Angelo Gabriel and Devid Washington are among the Brazilians to make movement Chelsea under current ownership, and according to Globo Esporte16-year-old Denner could be another.
Talks are progressing over an agreement that would be worth a £ 6.7m, plus an additional 3.8 million in in the supplements. If an agreement is reached, Denner would not be able to join Chelsea until the summer of 2026.
Denner, cousin of Arsenal Center defender Gabriel Magalhaes, is highly valued by Corinthians, who do not want to sell but are at risk of losing adolescent defender in another Brazilian pair due to a low release clause – about 1.4m – in his current contract. The offer of fresh conditions has been rejected and so Corinthians are prioritizing a sale abroad.
Meanwhile, Chelsea is set to send 19-year-old Washington striker back to Santos Santos boyhood. Chelsea paid £ 17.2m to sign Washington from Santos in 2023, but have watched her only make three elderly appearances, with the teen instead of spending almost all his time in under-21 years.
