It's the last day of domestic action before Christmas and Lingfield host a busy nine-race card, all live on Sky Sports Racing.
12.00 Lingfield – Zip It Up and Pin Lock Sirens
Richard Hannon's Zip It Up did everything for an easy success on debut at Kempton back in September and this daughter of Lope De Vega looks the one to win the £30 in free bets with BetUK Beginner Stake (12.00) with further improvements expected under Liam Keniry.
Needlepoint is represented by Amy Murphy who has a few decent chances on the card. A good winner on debut at Chantilly, she finished a creditable third on penalty at Chelmsford and that form was franked by the runner-up.
Big Time Rascal and Bree Anna Poppy complete the list.
12.30 Lingfield – Sovereign Knight tries to follow recent success
Amy Murphy dressed Sovereign Knight recorded his third all-weather success when scoring over this course and distance on his last outing and has to fear this 3lb higher mark in Additional winnings with BetUK Acca Club Handicap (12.30).
Mr. Cody scored a maiden all-weather success at Chelmsford last month and could set the standard under Warren Fentiman.
The five winds comes after having a similar event in his last start for trainer Jack Jones. Since then purchased by Stephanie Cassidy's yard, he rates high danger despite this rise in class.
moms showed useful form on turf last year and is advised to watch the market as he returns from the break.
2.30 Lingfield – Twilight Fun & McLoven trappy handicap competition
McLoven has run well in better races since winning over this course and distance in July and Tommie Jakes is an impressive booking as he makes his first start in 99 days.
Twilight Fun had a pair of Chelmsford handicaps earlier this year before narrowly missing out on completing a hat-trick at Wolverhampton last time. At 1lb for that effort, he should be in the money in this similar heat.
Diamond Dreamer is a three-time winner here and deserves respect.
Catch every race from Lingfield live on Sky Sports Racing on Sunday 22 December.
