India U-19 Women won the inaugural Asia Cup. Team India beat Bangladesh women by 41 runs. Gongadi Trisha became the architect of the victory. Trisha scored a thrilling half-century and caught the opposition with her bowling prowess.

India's U-19 women's team secured a win in the first women's event Asian Cup. India clinched the title behind Bangladesh by 41 runs in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday. Gongadi Trisha's match-winning 52 runs and a brilliant bowling effort sealed the win.

Outstanding performance by Trisha

Bangladesh has won the toss and has decided to throw first. While batting first India posted the target of 117/7 in 20 overs. Trisha's 52 runs off 47 balls lead to a decent target. Mithila Vinod's 17 off 12 and Aayushi Shukla's 10 off 13 helped India reach the defending target. Bangladesh's Farjana Easmin excelled with the ball and took 4/31.

India's Bowling Dominance

India's bowlers outclassed Bangladesh. They restrict Bangladesh to just 76 runs in 18.3 overs. Ayushi shukla took 3 wickets while Sonam Yadav and Parunika Sisodia chipped in with two wickets each. Despite resistance from Juairiya Ferdous and Fahmodia Choya, Bangladesh's efforts failed.
