Mohammad Amir said on the Cricket Predicta Show, “Virat Kohli is the greatest player of this generation. I laugh when comparisons are made between him and Babar Azam, Steve Smith or Joe Root. We cannot compare Virat Kohli with anyone because he has won so many matches for India which seems impossible for a single player. Not just in one format but in all three formats, Virat is the greatest batsman of this generation.”
Meanwhile, Mohammad Amir hailed Virat Kohli's dedication and determination, highlighting how the Indian batting star turned his career around after a tough series in England in 2014. The senior pacer further explained, “His wicket in the 2017 Champions Trophy final was very important for us which helped us win the final. Had Virat not been dismissed we would have lost the final because we all know how exceptional Virat's track record is.”

Finally, Mohammad Amir recalled Sachin Tendulkar's wicket in the 2009 Champions Trophy, saying it was the most special moment for him. Amir played against one of the greatest Tendulkar only once in his life during the Champions Trophy in South Africa in 2009 and a dismissal he could never forget.
