Rocky Flintoff has joined England's Lions Tour squad


Rocky Flintoff has joined the England Lions squad for their upcoming tour of Australia. He was trained by his father Andrew. Shoaib Bashir and Tom Hartley are looking forward to sharpening their skills. Josh Tongue is also set to return.

Rocky Flintoff was selected for the Lions tour of England

16-year-old Rocky Flintoff, has been appointed to England Lions squad for their January tour of Australia. He has gained an important platform in his career rise. Under the guidance of Andrew Flintoff, he has been added to the squad, who is the father of Rocky Flintoff.

He has played exceptionally well on his England Under-19 debut and his first-class appearances with Lancashire. He has also taken part in the tour of South Africa and is now ready to gain invaluable experience in Australia.

Shoaib Bashir has been England's leading Test spinner in 2024. Bashir has been mentored by former Ashes-winning spinner Graeme Swann. Bashir will play three matches, including an unofficial Test against Australia. Lancashire's Tom Hartley is also a spinner of Test experience. He has also joined the squad for the Australian series.

Josh Tongue's return from injury

Fast forward Josh Tongue will make a notable return after a prolonged injury setback. Tongue has impressed the selectors with his Test performance in 2023. He was joined by young paceman John Turner and Sam Cook.
