The pleasure of Super Smash is back as New Zealand prepares to boost cricket this summer with another exciting form of competition. The 2024/25 season promises an exciting mix of veterans and emerging talents, making it the perfect platform for players to showcase their skills in the competition.
Six teams will compete in the coveted Men's Super Smash tournament, with Auckland Aces entering the tournament as the defending champions. Known for their consistency and dominance, the Aces are the most successful team in Super Smash history, having captured the title five times. This season, they will look to build on their legacy and secure a sixth championship.
Their rivals, Northern Districts and Wellington Firebirds, have also done well in the competition, each boasting four titles to their name. With strong teams and experienced players, they want to take down the Aces and regain the top spot.
When the tournament takes place, fans can expect top-notch, nail-biting performances and stellar performances from established artists and up-and-coming talents. Super Smash not only provides entertainment but also serves as an important platform for players to push for higher honors, including national team selection.
