Ashwin's break: Lack of enough?

While the laughs and cheers may be fun for Indian cricket fans, a more pressing question looms before the team management. With Ashwin bidding farewell to the game after the Gabba Test, the question arises as to who will replace the long-time legendary batsman for the remaining matches of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Test series.

India may go for an extra pacer similar to the Brisbane Test, considering the seam movement they get at the MCG especially with the new ball. At the Sydney Test, the team can decide Washington Sundar as their main spinner. The game in Sydney is known to favor batsmen with spinners playing a vital role in the late game. Ravindra Jadeja he can provide extra support with bat and ball, like Ashwin.
