Chelsea have made some serious mistakes in the transfer market in their time – most notably Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah – and now it looks like we can add Christian Pulisic to that list.

The USA international has struggled to make much of an impression during his time at Stamford Bridge and it wouldn't be a huge surprise if he was eventually allowed to leave and join AC Milan.

However, some Chelsea fans are now wondering if they could have been a little more patient with Pulisic, who is still only 26 and is currently shining with AC Milan, scoring 11 goals and providing six assists in all competitions for club and country so far this season.

Chelsea and Arsenal complete SHOCKING deal in January!

At the very least, the Blues could certainly get more than £20m for Pulisic (fee via BBC Sport), which now looks like a great deal from Milan for such an effective attacking player.

Pulisic's price is now likely to have increased significantly Transfer market recent name Liverpool as potential suitorsfor now Manchester United have also been linked by daily briefingwho claimed he had now received an asking price of €65m, or £53m.

It would be heartbreaking for Chelsea fans if Pulisic ended up in England with one of their main rivals, but it's certainly easy to see the 26-year-old making an impact at the aforementioned clubs.

Mohamed Salah's contract is coming to an end at Liverpool, so perhaps another former Chelsea man could take his place in Arne Slott's attack, while Man United certainly need to make changes in that department as well.

The Red Devils have been poor this season and someone like Pulisic could certainly improve Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Harnach, who recently missed the big game in the Manchester derby.

Pulisic looked like a player reborn at Milan and it will be interesting to see if he can play English football once again and if he can perform better than last time.
