Tottenham Hotspur boss Angie Postico has revealed that the club is looking to make some signings this month to allow his injury-ravaged squad to compete.
Spurs face Newcastle at lunchtime on Saturday, with Postecoglou missing a number of players due to illness.
He is defender Micky van de Ven; Ben Davies and Cristian Romero; Goalkeepers Guglielmo Vicario and Richarlison. The forwards of Wilson Odobert and Mikey Moore are already gone.
To add to these problems, Midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur is suspended for Saturday, while left-back Destiny Udogie is out for six weeks with a hamstring injury.
Postecoglou said: “It's not a push, but the club is trying to get help for the team that is playing. The club is working hard on it.
