Celtic are in talks to recall Kirantiane from Arsenal after the Scotland international's injury spell ends his stay at the Emirates Stadium.
Defender Tierney joined the Gunners from the Scottish giants for £25m in August 2019, but has been sidelined for the current season, having been ruled out of the Premier League since May 2023 due to a hamstring injury.
The 27-year-old has made 125 appearances for the club, but has missed more than 60 games due to injury and has had surgery on shoulder and knee problems.

Tierney contract
Tierney, a 2019/20 FA Cup winner, has signed a new four-year contract in 2021, with Arsenal describing him as “an important part of the squad”.
“KT helped us both defensively and defensively. He gives a lot of attacking power,” manager Mikel Arteta said at the time. “It's great to know he's going to be with us for the long haul.”
Tierney spent last season on loan at Real Sociedad but missed 15 of the Spanish side's games with a hamstring injury, including two.
Tierney statistics
Celtic academy product Tierney is close to returning to the club where he made 170 appearances in his first spell.
The Hoops have won the Scottish title four times and the Scottish Cup and League Cup twice with the help of the Isle of Man-Born defender.

In 2019, after dislocating his shoulder during Arsenal's game at West Ham, Tierney started a run of 10 league games and made his comeback in the FA Cup final win over Chelsea.
Assisted Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's second goal in the 2-0 semi-final win over Manchester City and assisted in the 3-2 win over Watford in the final match of the season.
With knee surgery in March 2022 and the signing of left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko in July, Tierney became a back-up for Arteta.
The 18-year-old made 47 appearances as a debutant for Scotland in 2016 and has made four appearances at Euros 2020 and 2024.
