Ange Postecoglou confirms long injury layoff for Tottenham star


Tottenham Hotspur could be without injured left-back Destiny Udogie for up to six weeks, manager Ange Postecoglou has revealed.

The Italian was replaced in the early stages of the Spurs draw 2-2 with Wolves last weekend, adding to a severely depleted backline that has been missing Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Ben Davies in recent weeks.

Udogie was replaced by Sergio Reguilon, who was made available for tRANSFER in the summer, and now seems set aside for a long time.

SpursA miserable run of injuries has coincided with a number of sub-par performances, leaving him sidelined Europa League hopes for the bottom half of the Premier League table.

They have taken just four points from their last 18 available – losing four of their previous six games – but still possess the division's second most prolific attack – 41 goals have been scored by Postecoglou's side, behind only the league leaders Liverpool.
