I had a feeling it wasn't good: Ravi Shastri on Jasprit Bumrah
Ravi Shastri said on Fox Cricket: “He will see some doctors, have scans…we will know more shortly. I had a feeling it wasn't good. This could have a massive influence on the series.” In his absence, Virat Kohli is leading the Indian team in the Sydney Test.
Unfortunately, the extreme workload has taken its toll on Jasprit Bumrah, who has been India's only consistent bowler in the ongoing 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. The Indian pacer has probably bowled more than any other bowler in the Indian team Down Under.

These Traits Don't Look Good: Rohit Sharma on Sam Konstas
Prasidh Krishna leads the way in Bumrah's absence, taking three quick wickets at the SCG. Earlier, Rohit Sharma slammed Sam Konstas for hitting Jasprit Bumrah unnecessarily in the final session of the Sydney Test.
Reacting to the heated moment, Rohit told the station, “Our boys are silent only till a certain time. If you are going to push them, then they will fight back. We are all here to play cricket. Please don't do such nonsense. These troubles don't look good. Our boys are very stylish. We only focus on the given task and nothing else. It was important for us to scalp a wicket or two at that point to keep the pressure on Australia.”
