Ange Postecoglou believes Tottenham can hold Newcastle “fair and level”.
The Spurs boss cut a defiant player after the Magpies came from behind to beat the Magpies 2-1 at Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
Dominic Solanke gave the hosts the lead within four minutes, but Anthony Gordon equalized two minutes later.
Alexander Isak scored in the 37th minute as the Swede scored his seventh Premier League goal.
Tottenham Hotspur have won just two of their last 🔟 Premier League games.

Spurs regained the pressure after the break and had several chances in the second half, but failed to convert any of them.
Postecoglou's side have won just two of their last 10 Premier League games, a run that has seen them drop into the bottom half of the table.
Despite the result, Postecoglou insisted he was proud of his team but said the result would have been different in different circumstances.
“I am very proud of the players. “We've looked at the situation we're in,” the Tottenham manager told TNT Sports.
“We deserved to win this game. All must be equal.”

When asked about the possible handball chant for Gordon's goal, Postecoglou doubled down on his “playground” assessment.
“It's not like I'm working hard; I think it's the way they (officials) want to do it. The last thing I want to say is an explanation.
“All I have to say is, on another day, On a fair and even playing field, we could have won that game. It's as simple as that.
“Don't keep asking me about the (referee) decision. I know what my opinion is; As I said, If it had been any other day, If it was a level and fair playing field, We will win that game.
“It was a game we should have won and deserved. Currently, it is not equal. I couldn't be more proud of the way they (the players) played. their attitude, They have the ability to persevere in their worst situations.
“I'm sure you'll be disappointed because it's a game we're going to win, all things being equal. You can only do as much as you can control and there were things that took the game away from us today.”
Spurs host Liverpool at home in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-finals on Wednesday evening.
