WI vs BAN key battles
Nicholas Pooran vs Mahedi Hasan:
Bangladesh have managed to keep Nicholas Pooran quiet in both the games so far and have been duly rewarded for it. Pooran is one of the best T20 batsmen in the world but he is yet to fire in the series.
He was dismissed for 1 run in the first game before being dismissed for 5 in the second. In both the games, he was dismissed by Mahedi Hasan and this battle could also decide the fate of the upcoming third T20I.
Taskin Ahmed vs Brandon King:
West Indies are yet to get off to a good start with the bat in the series and the main reason behind that is Taskin Ahmed. In both matches, Taskin dismissed West Indies opener Brandon King to give his team a flying start. In the first game, he dismissed King for 1 before sending him back for 8 in the second game.
Obed McCoy vs Shamim Hossain:
Shamim Hossain's batting made a huge impact for Bangladesh in the series. In the first game, he scored 27 runs from just 13 balls which eventually helped his team win the game by 7 runs. In the second game, his unbeaten knock of 35 helped Bangladesh recover from 88/7 and trailing for 129. The onus will be on Obed McCoy to prevent Hossain from continuing his red-hot form in the third WI vs BAN T20I.
