The Cincinnati Bengals stayed alive in the AFC playoff race by holding off a hard-fought Pittsburgh Steelers for a 19-17 victory on Saturday night.

Joe Burrow passed for 277 yards and one touchdown, while Ja'Marr Chase had 10 receptions for 96 yards and one touchdown, and Cade York also kicked four field goals.

Cincinnati (9-8) won its fifth game on the spin and handed the Steelers (10-7) — already a playoff lock — their fourth straight loss.

The Bengals need the Denver Broncos to lose and the Miami Dolphins to lose or tie their games on Sunday to secure a playoff spot.

Pittsburgh – eliminated from the AFC North race earlier Saturday when the The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Cleveland Browns – scored 10 points on a 3-pointer by Cincinnati in the final quarter, but was unable to complete the comeback.

Russell Wilson was 17 of 31 passing for 148 yards and one touchdown for the Steelers, while Pat Freiermuth had eight receptions for 85 yards and a touchdown.

The Steelers will be either the 5th or 6th seed in the AFC playoffs.
