Afghanistan celebrated victory in Bulawayo as Rashid Khan scored seven wickets in the second innings to lead them to a 72-run victory. Zimbabwe in the second Test at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. This victory sealed a 1-0 series victory, marking the biggest victory in Afghanistan's tour of international cricket.

The last day of the exam saw Rashid provide the bowling technique that has left the Zimbabwean batting line in shambles. Starting at 205/8 and needing a big effort to achieve their goals, Zimbabwe's hopes were quickly dashed. Rashid struck in the second over, removing Richard Ngarava with a sharp delivery, and wrapped up the innings shortly after, finishing with figures of 7/66. His consistent accuracy and spin proved to be a hit with the bowlers, cementing his reputation as one of the fastest pacers in world cricket.

Afghanistan set the stage for their victory with a strong batting display in their second innings. Rahmat Shah and Ismat Alam led the show for the ages, scoring 139 and 101 respectively. Their contributions made Afghanistan's 363 all out, giving them a huge advantage.

Chasing 278 to win, Zimbabwe couldn't fight back, with skipper Craig Ervine's only half-century. The home team failed to meet the criteria set as Rashid and Zia-ur-Rehman (2/44) combined to restrict Zimbabwe to 205.

Afghanistan team captain Hashmatullah Shahidi praised the team's efforts. “First of all, thank you to the whole team, we are very happy with how we have done. Coming back after a tough first day was great, but mentally this will make us even stronger. Rahmat, Ismat and Rashid's performance was excellent,” he said in the post-game presentation.
