However, their efforts were not enough to overcome the genius of Sutherland and Rogers. For his brilliant all-round performance, which included two wickets and a crucial 49-run knock, Rogers was adjudged Player of the Match. His contributions with bat and ball were crucial to the Renegades' success, keeping their campaign alive in the 2024-25 Big Bash League.
