Belgian Grand Prix: Formula 1 agrees to extend Spa-Francorchamps on a rotational basis until 2031 | F1 News



Formula 1 has announced the extension of the Belgian Grand Prix, which will keep this event on the sports calendar on a rotating basis until at least 2031.

The race at the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit was entering the final year of its previous contract in the upcoming 2025 season.

Under the new conditions, Belgium will host the race in four of the next six seasons – 2026, 2027, 2029 and 2031.

F1 organizers have yet to confirm which circuit will rotate with Belgium until hosting in 2028 and 2030, but the move is designed to provide flexibility to meet significant demand for tracks to join the 24-race calendar.
